Maman Coffee Shop

Image
One of my favorite coffee shops in NYC! It has a chain of locations in the city as well as a few others in other states. It has a nice menu of brunch items, pastries, coffee, salads and sandwiches and more. I personally tried a few and hope to have more on future visits. It’s a very cute shop as well very Instagram worthy.  I ordered a few things as pictured above: cold brew with oat milk and vanilla syrup, Nutella beignet, croissant, and papa's breakfast bowl. I loved everything of course. Few things to note though, there coffee syrups are sugar free, so sugar may still be needed. The Nutella beignet is extremely sweet. I also ordered a hot latte with the croissant, which had beautiful latte art. I decided to dip my croissant in the latte and it was very good. Papa's Breakfast bowl was great. It has this bourbon bacon jam which is super fun! The potatoes were the best part in my opinion.  Don't forget I am a travel agent who would love to book your next trip for you at n

The metropolitan museum of art

Image
This iconic museum is known everywhere, and within good reason. It’s the centerpiece for the Met Gala every year, which is an event hosted by Anna Wintour. Designer brands invite celebrities as long as they wear their designs, which have been impressive over the years. The gala has a theme every year as well. I personally love seeing Blake Lively ever year, she never fails to impress me. I however most notably know this museum from many and I mean many rewatches of gossip girl.  Gossip Girl is a tv show about a select group (Manhattan’s elite) who are tormented my an anonymous blogger online known as gossip girl. Over the course of the show we see the museum a couple of times, but never really inside of it just the steps outside. It’s where Blair likes to meet her minions before school in the morning. I gotta say what time does this school start for them to be able to meet here in broad daylight before school? I’d understand lunch break but the show does hint on occasion to it being b

The Friends Experience NYC Guide

Image
Friends is an extremely popular television show that aired from 1994-2004. It made the careers of 6 stars even bigger than ever. It has had decades worth of fans. Over the last few years, a pop up called the Friends Experience has shown up. It typically stays for a while then moves to a new spot, the one in NYC managed to stay. It’s kinda like a museum but with photo opportunities. It has lots of cool props from the show as well as replica sets. Read on to see some examples 1. Monica and Rachel’s Apartment. The detail here is actually amazing. They have the yellow frame on the door, Rachel’s trifle, and Monica’s kitchen is spot on.  2. Ugly naked man. You can even poke him with a stick.  3. Chandler and Joey’s Apt. it looks exactly the same. None of the stuff is able to be used like you can’t play food all, etc but it’s a great replica. The chairs are the best part in my opinion.  4. Halloween costumes. Many seasons can counter some costumes that are on full display.  5. The box. Yes

The ultimate guide to New York City: Gossip Girl Edition

Image
“Hey upper east siders! Gossip girl here and I have the biggest news ever!” Those words were the start of one of my favorite shows that came on TV! As a fan, when I found out I was going to New York back in 2019, I needed to see the locations myself. I’ve been 2 more times since and I’m still seeing some cool spots from the show. Read on to see what places are must sees for Gossip Girl fans.  Note: I am only writing about places I have seen to date and will update with more as I travel! 1. The metropolitan museum of art. Blair Waldorf is infamous for sitting on the steps of the Met. Even going so far as not letting anyone sit above her. While the exterior is the most shown part on the show, they do go inside once to meet Blair and Chuck to find out they’re getting married at stop 2 2. Central Park. There are so many spots from Central Park from the show, but I wanna discuss 2 in particular here. This bridge and the besthesda fountain. The bridge is near a duck pond where Blair would

WDW Food 2021 Ranking

I went on a trip to Disney World in December of 2021! I of course ate quite a few food options, some of which I forgot to photograph. Read on to see what I think about the foods I ate while in Disney. And stay tuned for Disneyland in June! This segment will be for the Epcot day on the trip!  The Gingerbread Milkshake can be found during the International Festival of the Holidays at Epcot. I was kinda excited to try this out but I didn’t like it. It was much too cinnamonny for my taste or liking. 5/10 When snacking around the world showcase, I opted to stop in Norway. It’s been on my list for years and I finally hit it up. Now I see it’s no longer available but I hope it comes back. The Troll Horn can be found at the Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe along with my unpictured Viking Coffee that I also got. The treat was quite good and much better than school bread so I’ll give it 9/10. As for the drink 10/10! We love a coffee cocktail combo The Linzier Cookie is one of the cookies on the cookie s
